History of co-operative
Our Co-operative commenced operating in 1985. The name Porridge Bowl comes from Oliver Twist – he brought the porridge bowl back asking for more, and we were a new co-operative starting up asking for more housing.

About co-operative
The age group of our tenants ranges from 21 to 60+ years, and consists of single mothers, families and aged pensioners. We choose to keep our properties south of Adelaide due to the lifestyle, close to the beaches and coastline, the wineries and surrounding Hills – and only a 40-minute drive to the city.
